Midtown Bungalow

This project features a charming remodel of a 1920s bungalow nestled in the heart of Midtown. The original house was gutted and the square footage doubled with the addition of a master suite, home office, and resort-style outdoor living space. Removing the room divider in the front of the house created a large living space where the floor-to-ceiling fireplace, previously the focal point of the front room, is now an accent piece balanced by a 120” blue console. A highlight of the home is the new study which provides ample natural light and custom cabinetry.

The design maintains the vintage feeling of the house with mosaic tile in the bathrooms while introducing an eclectic mix of furnishings and finishes that play well together to create a bright and happy home. The neutral walls and flooring allow for bold pops of color in the rugs, fabrics, art, and kitchen backsplash.
